WO PDF Data Deletion
1. Short answer
WO PDF has no user accounts, so there is no account to delete. We do not run a server that stores your documents, photos, signatures or settings, so there is nothing of that kind for us to delete. Everything the app keeps is on your phone, and you can remove it yourself using the steps below.
2. What the app keeps and how to delete it
| What | Where | How to delete it |
|---|---|---|
| Saved PDFs in the library | Inside the app | Library, then Delete (step A), or clear the app's storage (step D) |
| Copies of PDFs in Documents/WO PDF | Your phone's shared storage | Delete in the app (step A) or with a file manager (step F) |
| Images saved from PDFs | Documents/WO PDF (the app writes them there when you save; it tells you if it cannot) | With a file manager (step F) |
| Saved signatures | Inside the app | In the editor's signature panel (step B) or clear the app's storage (step D) |
| Unfinished scan draft (photos of the pages you added, crop and filter choices) | Inside the app | Create the PDF from it, remove all its pages, or choose Delete when the app asks "Continue your draft?" (step H); or clear the app's storage (step D) |
| Temporary share copies | App cache | Settings, Temporary files, Clear (step C) |
| Plan status, Free plan counter and language choice | Inside the app | Clear the app's storage (step D) |
3. Steps
A. Delete one document. Open Library, find the PDF, tap Delete and confirm. The app removes it from the library and also tries to remove its copy in the Documents/WO PDF folder. If the copy cannot be removed, the app tells you, and you can delete it with a file manager.
B. Delete a saved signature. Open the PDF editor, open the signature panel and tap the delete icon (labelled Delete signature) next to the signature.
C. Clear temporary files. Go to Settings, Temporary files, Clear.
D. Delete everything the app stores. On your phone, open Android Settings, Apps, WO PDF, Storage, and choose Clear storage (on some devices it is called Clear data). This removes the library, saved signatures, any unfinished scan draft and the app's settings. Menu names vary between devices and Android versions. Clearing only the cache does not remove your documents. This does not cancel a subscription (see section 4).
E. Uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes the app's private data (library, signatures, scan draft and settings). It does not cancel a subscription (see section 4), and it may not remove files in Documents/WO PDF (step F).
F. Delete files in Documents/WO PDF. Open a file manager on your phone, go to Documents, open the WO PDF folder and delete the files you do not want. These are ordinary files outside the app's private storage and they may remain after you uninstall the app.
G. Files you shared. If you sent a file to another app or person, that recipient has its own copy. Ask them to delete it.
H. Delete an unfinished scan draft. While you build a PDF from photos, the app keeps the pages you have added (photos and settings) in its private storage so you can continue later. Creating the PDF from them removes the draft, and so does removing all of its pages. The next time you open the app it may ask "Continue your draft?": choose Delete to remove the draft, or Continue to keep working on it. Clearing the app's storage (step D) removes the draft as well.
4. Purchases and payment data
Subscriptions and payment details are handled by Google Play, not by us, and WO PDF cannot delete them. Deleting the app's data or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. To cancel, open Google Play, go to Subscriptions, select WO PDF and choose Cancel subscription. For information that Google holds about your purchases, use your Google account settings and see Google's Privacy Policy. Technical information that Google components built into the app may send to Google (see section 4 of our Privacy Policy) is held by Google, and we cannot delete it.
5. Data we hold
The personal data we may hold is what you send us when you write to support, the sales records that Google provides to us as the publisher, and reviews you write in Google Play, which Google Play Console shows us (see our Privacy Policy). Reviews are published and managed by Google Play; to change or remove your own review, use Google Play. To ask us to delete or correct the other data, or to ask what we hold, write to info@viq.com.tr from the address you used before. We may ask for information needed to confirm who you are. We answer within the time the applicable law requires (for example, 30 days under Turkish law and one month under the GDPR). We may need to keep some records, such as accounting and tax records, for as long as the law requires, which is the period provided by Turkish commercial and tax legislation. Support messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request, follow it up and handle any disputes, and are then deleted or anonymised.
