Please do not send documents that contain private or confidential information. WO PDF works on your device and we do not have a copy of your files, so we cannot recover a file for you.
Plans, page limits and exports
What are the limits of each plan?

The Plans screen in the app shows everything each plan includes and the price in your currency.
How does the page limit work? It applies to each PDF you work with: the PDF you create from photos, the PDF you open in a tool, and the total pages of a merge. If a PDF has more pages than your plan allows, the app tells you and offers a plan that fits.
What does the Free plan allow? The Free plan lets you create a PDF within the page limit, with one successful export on this device. To keep exporting you need Basic or Pro.
Subscriptions
How do I subscribe? Open the Plans screen, choose Basic or Pro and follow the Google Play screen. The price comes from Google Play and is shown in your local currency. Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically until you cancel.
How do I cancel? Cancel in Google Play:
- Open Google Play and go to Subscriptions.
- Select WO PDF.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the steps.
You can also go to Settings, Google, Manage your Google Account, Payments and subscriptions, Manage subscriptions. In WO PDF, go to Settings, Plan, Manage, then tap Manage subscription on the Plans screen; it opens your subscription in Google Play. After you cancel, you keep your plan for the period you have already paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I restore my purchase on a new phone or after reinstalling? Sign in to Google Play with the Google account you used to buy, connect to the internet, then open WO PDF and tap Restore purchases on the Plans screen (or Restore next to Purchases in Settings).
How do I switch between Basic and Pro? Open the Plans screen and tap the other plan. The app may switch you directly; if that cannot be completed, it opens your subscription in Google Play. You can also cancel the current subscription in Google Play (see "How do I cancel?" above), keep using it until the period you have already paid for ends, and then choose the other plan on the Plans screen.
Can I get a refund? You can request a refund through Google Play under its refund policy: Google Play refund policy. At the time of writing, Google says that within 48 hours of a purchase you may be able to get a refund depending on the details of the purchase, and that after 48 hours you can contact the developer. You can also write to us.
I paid but the paid features are still locked. Check that you are signed in to Google Play with the account that paid and that you are online, then tap Restore purchases on the Plans screen (or Restore next to Purchases in Settings). A new payment can take a moment to be confirmed; the app shows a message while it checks. If it still does not work, write to us with the order number from your Google Play receipt.
Using the tools
Can I change the existing text in a PDF? No. The PDF editor (Basic plan) adds text, drawings, highlights, shapes and images on top of the page. It does not edit the original text the way a word processor does. Its cover and replace tools place a box over existing content and write on top, so the original text remains in the file and can still be copied. Do not rely on it to keep confidential information from being seen.
What kind of signature does WO PDF add? The signature tool (Basic plan) adds an image that you draw with your finger and place on the page. It is not a certified or qualified electronic signature. Whether it is accepted depends on the law and on the person who asks for it.
What does compression do? Compression turns the pages into images to make the file smaller. The text in the compressed file can no longer be selected, and form fields, links and bookmarks are lost. If the result would not be smaller, the app keeps your original. Basic includes two compression presets and Pro adds an extra-small one.
Which languages does text recognition (OCR) support? English and Turkish. OCR recognizes both together; there is no setting to choose one. OCR is part of Pro. You can get the text, or a searchable PDF. It does not read handwriting or vertical text, and it does not open password-protected PDFs. Check the result before you rely on it. The language data is packaged inside the app, and the app is built so that OCR does not need to download anything.
How does scanning work? The camera tool opens your device's camera app to take a photo. WO PDF does not save these photos to your gallery. You can also pick photos from your gallery.
How do frames from a video work? On Pro you choose a video on your device and pick up to 18 frames. The selected frames are added as pages that you can arrange and save as a PDF.
How do I save PDF pages as images? Use the PDF to images tool (included from Basic). Choose the pages and settings, then save or share. When you save, the app writes the images to the Documents/WO PDF folder; if it cannot, it tells you.
Why can't I open a PDF? Password-protected PDFs are not supported. A damaged file cannot be opened either. Very large PDFs (above 120 MB or 1,000 pages) are not opened.
Your files and storage
Where are my files? Your library is inside the app, and the app also tries to put a copy of each file in the Documents/WO PDF folder of your phone, where you can find it with a file manager.
I am getting a new phone. How do I move my files? WO PDF turns Android backup off, so the library does not move to a new phone by itself. Share or export the PDFs you want to keep, or copy the Documents/WO PDF folder.
How do I delete my files or clear space? See Data deletion. To clear temporary share copies, go to Settings, Temporary files, Clear.
Does WO PDF need the internet? Your documents are processed on your device and are not uploaded. The internet is needed to buy, restore and check a subscription; the app checks your subscription with Google Play when you open it or return to it.
